Lynne and Kansas Troubles Quilters (KTQ) are virtually synonymous. KTQ began in 1989, when three friends started quilting together and selling their work at craft shows. As interest grew, requests for patterns followed—and what began as a shared passion quickly blossomed into a beloved quilting brand with a devoted following.

Over the years, Lynne has created hundreds of quilting patterns, authored more than two dozen books—including a five-book series of historical quilts and quilters’ journals—and designed over 70 fabric collections for Moda Fabrics.

In 2001, Lynne returned to her childhood hometown of Bennington, Kansas, where she expanded her studio and began offering weekend Quilting Getaways. Her husband, Robert, soon joined the business full-time, allowing Lynne to focus on designing and creating quilts while he handled the rest. Today, Lynne, Robert, and the KTQ staff host KT & Friends Retreats in Bennington and continue to share their love of quilting with makers from around the world.

From new fabric collections and books to patterns, workshops, retreats, and even quilting cruises, there’s always something exciting happening at Kansas Troubles Quilters—and these workshops are a wonderful chance to be part of that creative energy. Visit KTquilts.com to learn more.
