LUGGAGE TAG
This luggage tag can be used to identify much more than your luggage. Use it for musical instruments, baby bags, sports equipment, camera case, sewing machine carrier, and on and on. Let your imagination roll. Use distinctive fabric to quickly locate your item among all of the routine labeling used by others.

– ¼ yd. of Cotton Fabric (choose a design that is small; design should be easy to
recognize when cut into a 4 5/8”x 6 1/2” piece of fabric)
– 1/8 yd. of cotton or polyester quilting batting; maximum thickness of ½” batting
(need 2-3 layers per bag tag of cotton batting or ½” of polyester batting)
– Clear Vinyl, 20 gauge thickness, 3 1/8” width of clear vinyl; (need one 3 1/8” x 4”
for front of Bag Tag). (Provided by your instructor for today’s class). [A 3 1/8”
cut across a 54” width of vinyl would cost a little over $1 as of May 2024; you
would be able to get 13.5 vinyl pieces from this one cut.]

– 3 ½” x 2” Card Stock or business card or Index Card (for personal information)
