Opportunity Raffle Tickets Now Available

Quilt & Sewing Machines!

OPQG has no paid staff, only volunteers. Funds raised by the guild cover the cost of our facility (rent/utilities/insurance), educational programs, the OPQG Library, and materials to create and donate between 1,000 and 1,500 quilts each year to local relief organizations. You’re supporting the guild’s ongoing expenses and community service programs by purchasing entry tickets for this quilt. We truly appreciate your support of our efforts.

Evening Solitude Quilt

$10 buys 12 raffle tickets for this beautiful quilt! This 91″ x 91″ quilt will be given away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, during a Facebook Live event at the conclusion of the OPQG Show.

The quilt pattern, Evening Solitude, was designed by guild member and professional pattern designer, Kim Forman of Kimberly Forman Creative.

The quilt was made with Moda’s Nutmeg fabric collection. Cutting and piecing was completed by guild members Paula Johnson, Mary Vaughan, Barbara Harmon, and Jillian Grant. The custom quilting is truly gorgeous and was done by guild member, Melynda Buckmaster.

Also, please know the quilt is truly 91″ x 91″ square. The photo of the quilt was taken at the guild with it hanging on a less-than-ideal rod.

Purchase note—you will not receive physical tickets in the mail as your online order number will be your entry number into the raffle.
