Joanne Simonson was our instructor for December’s education class—Four-Patch Posies. Joanne made it easy to turn yardage (some fabric was not very pretty) into fabulous blocks. Wow is all that can be said about the wonderful creations made by quilters in her class. This technique is a great way to rethink how patterned fabric can be transformed.
The photos below are just a few of the blocks created that day.
The picture on the left is the original fabric. The picture on the right shows the blocks made into new Four-Patch Posey creations. Many times, a kaleidoscope-type effect is a new result.
