Sew Scrappy
Great ideas for scrap piecing
Sew Scrappy
Have you ever wondered what to do with that mounding pile of scraps you have and can’t bear to give away? Are you just getting started making quilts and haven’t built up a stash of fabric yet? Come join the fun with others in your “scrappy predicament.”
The SEW SCRAPPY Group was established in 2014 by members who enjoy utilizing their scraps to create quilts, and we always welcome new members. If you’re new to making scrap quilts, we have bins of fabric available for your use. Many of our quilts are donated through Community Quilts. We choose a pattern for a Challenge Quilt each year for our group display at the Ozark Piecemakers Quilt Show.
This group meets on the second Monday of the month at 9:30 am, and the group co-leaders are Kathy Carr and Kay Parrish. Members may contact either co-leader directly (their contact information is on the membership roster). Non-guild members interested in this group are encouraged to contact our membership chair through our website’s contact form, available here.
Here’s a gallery of projects created by members of this group.
