OPQG volunteers had a great day at the Nixa Chamber of Commerce expo, NIXPO! We sold two quilts, several handmade items from the show boutique inventory, a few new precuts and lots of $5.00 scrap bags. At $5 each or five for $20, we sold nearly 100 of the fabric bags! We also handed out quite a few guild brochures and a few membership applications. A handful of people told us they came to NIXPO to shop in our booth because they saw the event on our Facebook page. I’m told one person entered the event and asked the people at the info desk, “Where is the quilt show?!”
