Sunday afternoon, March 21, 2021, the Quilts of Valor group held its first drive-up presentation. This presentation was the first held in over a year for our group due to COVID-19 restrictions. We are very happy with the way the presentation went and will consider this type of presentation again if necessary. We presented 24 deserving veterans with quilts that afternoon. MaryAnn Wenger also delivered a quilt Sunday afternoon to a local veteran who could not make it to the presentation. Our Quilts of Valor group has 21 active members currently, nine were in attendance for the presentation. Nationwide the Quilts of Valor organization has presented 269,505 quilts as of the end of February 2021.
