Charming Christmas Get-Together

Looking for a quick and easy Christmas project?  Miss seeing some of your quilt guild friends? Why not join a small group of folks at the guild building while also following physical distancing and mask guidelines?  Since we are not able to hold our typical Christmas party, this is a fun alternative for interested members to get together and begin the month of December working together as well as socializing. If you prefer to make the project at home, please do so and share your small quilt tops on our social media page.

I will be making my second wall hanging, though using totally different fabrics from the ones in the picture. The pattern for this project is free and is available on the Fat Quarter Shop website and is attached to this email. You may also go to the Fat Quarter Shop website and search “Mini Charming Christmas Short Cut Quilt Pattern” or click here to download the pattern as a PDF.  The finished size is 26 ½ square. Supplies are minimal and are as follows.

Christmas fabric scraps to make 68–2 ½ inch squares (Use from your stash or two mini charm packs.)

¾ yd. background

½ yd. binding

1 yd. backing

Those who wish to come to the group and make a different project are also welcome!

We will meet on December 1st from 9:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Please call or email to let me know you will plan to be there.  Also, feel free to call with any questions you may have before Dec. 1st.

Hope to see you there. Mary Loker  mloker@ozarkpiecemakers.com
