It’s time to make quilts for our 2026 Quilt Show!

The entry deadline for the June 11-13, 2026, OPQG Show is March 1, 2026.

Get ready to stitch your story into history! Join us June 11-13, 2026, for a quilt show like no other! “Stitching History” celebrates artistry, heritage, and the creative journeys that connect us all. Whether you’re an experienced quilter or just beginning, this is your moment to shine. We invite you to enter your quilt and be part of the celebration! Whether you’re aiming for a ribbon or simply sharing your creative voice, there are plenty of opportunities in both judged and non-judged categories for all skill levels and styles.

Registration opens: January 1, 2026
Entry deadline: March 1, 2026 (Entries postmarked on March 1 will be accepted. No late entries!)

What’s New for 2026? We’re introducing two skill-based divisions: Master Division & Artisan Division.

Please review the 2026 Quilt Categories and Definitions document to determine the appropriate division when registering for the event.

Entry Requirements
  • Quilts do not need to be finished at the time of registration.
  • You must submit a photo no smaller than 4”x6” showing the quilt top in progress. The photo will be used for ID purposes only.
  • Framed art entries require four detailed photos as outlined in the registration form.
  • Your spot is officially reserved once your registration is received.
  • Hanging Requirements—All quilts must have a hanging sleeve, except: Framed art pieces and Youth entries (ages 7-12). Quilt Hanging Sleeve Instructions
  • Delivery & Shipping—You can either ship your quilt or hand-deliver it to the show; whichever works best for you.
  • Shipping Your Quilt—Quilts may be shipped via UPS or FedEx to the Quilt Show Registrar. Ship-to address and full instructions are included on the registration form.
  • Quilts must be received by June 1, 2026, so please plan to avoid delays. If you’d like your quilt returned by mail after the show, include a prepaid return shipping label.
  • Hand Delivery—Quilts may be hand-delivered to the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds E*Plex on Monday, June 8, 2026, between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Volunteers will be on-site to check in your quilt and confirm your entry information.

Cash Awards

Cash awards will be presented to winners in judged categories as noted below:

  • Best of Show in both Master and Artisan Divisions
  • Best Machine Quilting
  • Best Hand Quilting
  • Judge’s Choice
  • Viewer’s Choice
  • First, second, and third place will be awarded in each judged category in the Master, Artisan, and Youth Divisions.

Note: Non-members of OPQG and all youth entrants must complete and submit a Social Media Image Release Waiver.
