Classroom at the Show—Intro to Wool Applique by members of OPQG’s small group, Wooly Ladies

Friday, September 27, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the east lecture hall
• Supplies provided: fabric, wool, button, needle, thread, Lil’ Book of Embroidery Stitches, and a list of wool shops in the area
• Class attendees should bring snips or small straight-edge scissors and note-taking supplies
• Join the OPQG Wooly Ladies, led by Sandy Love and Ellen Williams, and learn how to applique a wool flower onto a cotton fabric base. They will teach you the basics of wool applique and different stitches that can be used to secure your wool flower. To enhance your design, top off your finished project with a button.
• Takeaway: attendees will understand the basics of wool applique and can use these skills in future projects.

You will not receive physical tickets if you sign up for a class or lecture at the show. Your name will be on a paid guest list at the door of the classroom or lecture hall and you will check in then. Purchasing tickets to a class or lecture is a fee is over and above the price of admission to the OPQG Show.
