Classroom at the Show—Landscape Quilt Designs

$10.00

Landscape Quilt Designs by OPQG Member Debbie Ross
Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 9:30 to 11:00 am in the east lecture hall
•Debbie will walk you through the steps to design a landscape quilt. She will teach you how to build the landscape by walking you through the steps. You’ll start by creating your background and then building out your picture. She will work with you to understand the concept of visual perspective so you can properly size your design.
You will not receive physical tickets if you sign up for a class or lecture at the show. Your name will be on a paid guest list at the door of the classroom or lecture hall and you will check in then. Purchasing tickets to a class or lecture is a fee over and above the price of admission to the OPQG Show.
•Attendees will gain enough knowledge to begin projects independently and have enough skills to explore new ideas.
•Attendees should bring the following items: small, straight-blade scissors, straight pins, a rotary cutter, a small ruler, and a small cutting mat.
•Supplies provided: Fabric base, fabric with fusible product already applied.
•Debbie took a class on landscape quilt design in Phoenix, and from there, her skills and interest in the technique blossomed. Her landscape quilts have hung in Paducah and other regional quilt shows.
